Abstract
Ground probing radar surveys can be used to image subsurface fractures in granite where weathering has contributed to the formation of oxides on the fracture surfaces. Similarly, with the use of conductive salt solutions as the fracturing medium, radar images of artificial cracks created during hydraulic fracturing can be obtained.https://doi.org/10.1071/EG990105
