Abstract
The Thalanga Zn?Pb?Cu?Ag deposit is situated approximately 65 km southwest of Charters Towers in Queensland (Fig. 1). It was discovered in 1975 by Penarroya (Australia) geologist C. Douglas-Brown, who found the gossan during a reconnaissance programme. Since that time numerous geophysical surveys have been conducted over the deposit to assist in delineating ore reserves, which enable comparison of the cost-effectiveness of different techniques in exploration for similar deposits in the region.https://doi.org/10.1071/EG985231
