Abstract
Wool production of sheep supplemented with whole wheat containing 2.46 per cent N and grazing under simulated drought conditions was increased by 7 per cent by feeding twice weekly instead of daily, and by a maximum of 24 per cent by feeding once weekly. Wool production was increased by a maximum of 16 per cent by treating wheat with formaldehyde and feeding twice weekly but the addition of urea evoked no response. Liveweight and liveweight change were not significantly affected by any of the treatments imposed.
