Abstract
To find a rapid field method of estimating soil permeability, counts on undisturbed samples of pore numbers in various size ranges were correlated with measured hydraulic conductivity. The suggested field method uses counts of visible pores in the size range 0.5 to 0.1 mm for the estimation of soil permeability.
