Abstract

In an experiment involving the artificial insemination of 246 Corriedale ewes with 0.1 m1 of undiluted ram semen, the intramuscular injection of 200 mU or 800 mU of synthetic oxytocin following insemination, either 0-14 or 14-24 hours after the start of oestrus, had no effect on fertility.
