The effect of different methods of attaching sultana canes to the trellis wire

Abstract

Omitting to twist sultana canes around the trellis wire during pruning did not reduce bud burst, per cent fruitful shoots, yield, or the number of canes available for next season's pruning. It is concluded that a less time-consuming method of attaching canes could be used without affecting yield.
