Abstract
A method of gravimetric moisture sampling that eliminates subsampling is suggested. Details of construction of the digging implement and depth control instrument are given. A test of the suggested method and equipment as against standard equipment is described. The result of this test showed that the method described significantly reduced the error in gravimetric moisture sampling due to loss of water while subsampling.https://doi.org/10.1071/EA9640191
