Abstract
Binapacryl, a new fungicide for the control of apple powdery mildew, (Podosphaera leucotricha (Ell. and Ev.) Salm.) was field tested in Tasmania in the seasons 1961-62 and 1962-63 and found to give better control of secondary mildew infections than dinocap and wettable sulphur. Binapacryl 25 per cent wettable powder (W.P.) was used at rates of 1, 1.5 and 2 lb to 100 gallons, dinocap 22.5 per cent W.P. at 12 oz to 100 gallons, and 80 per cent and 89 per cent micronized sulphur formulations at 3 lb to 100 gallons.https://doi.org/10.1071/EA9640052
