Abstract
A high-resolution photoelectron spectrometer incorporating a He I 58.4- nm photon source has been constructed. A 127° 17? cylindrical electrostatic analyser of 10 cm mean radius is used for electron energy analysis. A description is given of the interfacing of the spectrometer to a PDP-9 computer. An on-line configuration has been developed to enable pulse counting, signal averaging, and digitization of spectra.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9752353
