Abstract
Acheson's ?hexabromoacridone?1 is shown to be 1,2,3,4,5,7-hexabromo-9- acridone by a combination of N.M.R. spectroscopy and synthesis from specifically tritiated 9-acridones. In boiling piperidine, the bromines at C 1 and C 3 are replaced.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9750455
