N,N-Dialkyldithiocarbamate complexes of niobium(V), vanadium(V), molybdenum(V), molybdenum(VI), and rhenium(v)

Abstract

Sodium dialkyldithiocarbamates react with salts of each of the above metals to produce compounds formulated as NbO(dtc)₃, VO(dto)₃, Mo₂0₃(dtc)₄, MoO₂(dtc)₂, and Re₂O₃(dtc)₄. These compounds are characterized particularly by their infrared and mass spectra which are discussed in detail.
