Abstract
Measurements have been made of the e.s.r. spectrum of copper(II) N-(n-alkyl)-salicylideneimine chelate when dissolved in various solvents. The line widths of the hyperfine spectrum have been obtained by curve fitting using an iterative procedure. The line width broadening has been shown to depend on the product of aliphatic chain length and solvent viscosity.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9650463
