Abstract
The bark of Cryptocarya triplinervis R.Br. yields the water-soluble alkaloid iso-corydine methiodide. The same compound has been obtained from the bark of C. angulata C.T. White, together with roemerine and 3,4-dimethoxy-1-dimethylamino-ethylphenanthrene. Although known in an impure state as a derivative of roemerine, the latter has not been isolated previously from natural sources.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9540099
