Abstract
Australian samples of natural lead sulphide have been used as radiation detectors In the near infra-red. The nature of the photovoltaic effect has been investigated and the sensitivity of some cells measured. The electrical properties of bulk samples have been measured. The results have been compared with similar measurements given by other authors for thin lead sulphide films, and a close correlation has been established between them.https://doi.org/10.1071/CH9510569
