Abstract
Protein markers have been used to determine genetic differences in animal populations. Electrophoresis on disc acrylamide gels of red cell haemolysates from two reproductively isolated species of grey kangaroos, the eastern grey kangaroo, Macropus giganteus Shaw, 1790. and the western grey kangaroo, M. juliginosus (Desmarest, 1817), revealed two patterns of lactate dehydrogenase isozymes, phenotypes D and E, and also Em, a modified form of phenotype E.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9731153
