Abstract
The frequency of formation of prototrophic recombinants in crosses between all tested pairs of eight alleles of the nitrateĀ· 2 locus in N. CTassa is subject to a reduction of about eightfold by a dominant gene rec-z+. rec-z is unlinked to nit-2 and is not identical with rec-3 or rec-x.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9700855
