Abstract
Bean plants were grown in the dark for 10-14 days and then transferred to continuous artificial light for varying periods. After illumination, the plastids were isolated and purified by differential and density-gradient centrifugation. The structure of the plastids was studied by phase-contrast and fluorescence microscopy.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9640086
