Abstract
Wool was extracted with O· 1M potassium thioglycollate at pH 11· 0 for 2 hr at 50°C and the soluble proteins were precipitated by acidifying to pH 5, redis· solved in potassium thioglycollate at pH 10, and reacted with sodium iodoacetate at pH 9 to give a mixture of at least five electrophoretic ally distinct S·carboxy. methyl kerateines.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9600081
