Abstract
Homogonatos of otioluted pea leaves were ii'uetionated by diffm'ontiul 'rhe fraetiens were examined mierescopically, and ussaycd for nitrogen, nucleie acid, and pigment content, for the following cnzymossuecinoxidase, eytoehrome oxidase, and eyteehrome reductase, and fOt' their ability to carry out exidutive phosphOt'ylatieu. 1'hese st.udles revealed IGast four different types ef pm.,tides, llmnely nuclei, plastids, mitoehendl'ia, and particles of mitochendrial size, or smaller, laeking suecinexidase. Theso luttor particles contained cyl, oehrome roductase and corrosponded to the Inicrosomes of mammalian cells.https://doi.org/10.1071/BI9560339
