Abstract
Three experiments were conducted to explore the use of diphenylamine to prevent fruit injury resulting from fumigation with methyl bromide. Two were conducted in Western Australia on Granny Smith apples and one in Tasmania on Granny Smith and Crofton apples. The results showed clearly that diphenylamine either as a dip or as a wrap prevented methyl bromide injury, but oil-impregnated wraps did not.https://doi.org/10.1071/AR9760541
