Abstract
Of the 11 medics introduced into a disclimax community in which M. minima (L.) Bart. was the dominant species in the herbaceous stratum, the only ones which successfully competed with the naturalized medic were: M. confinis Koch, M. scutellata (L.) Mill., M. tribuloides Desr., and M. turbinata (L.) Willd. The last two species are considered the most suitable for widespread testing on well-drained black soils in northern New South Wales.https://doi.org/10.1071/AR9620212
