Sweat glands in cattle: Histology : Morphology, and Evolutionary trends

Abstract

Basic morphological types of sweat glands in various groups of cattle are described, the volumes of glands measured, and differences in volume between and within groups demonstrated. Two distinct trends in the evolution of the sweat gland in cattle are discussed.
