Abstract
Statistical relations between rainfall and other climatological elements described by earlier workers have been extended for different districts and stations, different time lags, and more recent data. The latter study shows that practically all the correlations have decreased considerably in magnitude. The implications for the correlation method of seasonal forecasting are briefly discussed.https://doi.org/10.1071/AR9530423
