General Information

Papua New Guinea Medical Journal welcomes submissions on new research from scientists, clinicians and managers, especially those early in their careers, and reports of projects that demonstrate better ways of delivering care (see Scope). All articles are externally peer-reviewed, in consultation with our Editors.

When preparing a paper for publication, please follow journal style and layout as closely as possible. It may help if you consult a recent paper online. Detailed guidelines are set out in the Author Instructions.

Submission of an article is taken to mean that the content has not been published and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. There are currently no charges for Papua New Guinea Medical Journal.

CSIRO Publishing also supplies the corresponding authors with a free PDF of their article upon publication. All papers are also available free of charge from our website. Authors may also order hardcopy reprints of their articles.
