Descriptions of the Larvae of Six Australian Species of Chrysopa Leach, S.l. (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae).

Abstract

The larvae of Chrysopa ramburi Schneider, C. tripunctata McLachlan, C. signata Schneider, C. innotata Walker, C. edwardsi Banks and C, traviata Banks are described and a key is given for distinguishing them. The effect of temperature and diet on the extent and intensity of cuticular and subcutaneous pigmentation is discussed.
