Revision of World Cleradini (Heteroptera: Lygaeidae), With a Cladistic Analysis of Relationships Within the Tribe.

Abstract

Additional descriptions are given of: Panchaea Stål, 1865 (type-species: P. depressa Stål, 1865), Navarrus Distant, 1901 [type-species: N. phaeophilus (Walker, 1872)], Pholeolygaeus garnhami (Miller, 1957), Dyakana Distant, 1906 [type-species: D, dissimilis (Walker, 1872)], Pactye Stål, 1865 (type-species: P. ciconia Stål, 1867), Dendezia Scudder, 1963 (type-species: D. nitida Scudder, 1963), Kanadyana Scudder, 1963 (type-species: K. dolora Scudder, l963), and Reclada White, 1878 (type-species: R. moesta White, 1878). Henricodohrnia elegans Breddin, 1901 is transferred to Pactye. New genus Parapactye is described to accommodate Henricodohrnia africanus Scudder, 1962. A cladistic analysis of relationships of the genera and species of the tribe Cleradini is presented. A key to world genera and a checklist of genera and species of Cleradini are given.
