Abstract
Teleogryllus commodus and T. oceanicus coexist without evidence of hybridization in an extensive zone of sympatry. Reproductive isolation is achieved by means of highly selective phonotactic responses by females to the distinctive calling songs of the males. In sympatry there is no evidence of reinforcement, either of the differences between the calling songs or in phonotactic behaviour of females.https://doi.org/10.1071/ZO9720153
