Revision of the Xanthesma Michener (Apoida : Colletidae)

Abstract

The genus Xanthesma Michener, 1965, is revised. Eleven species are recognized including seven which are described as new: X. argosomafa, X. dasycephala, X. lasiosomata, X. lutea, X. parva, X. trisulca, and X. vittata. Keys that enable the separation of all species are presented.
