Observations on nest and nesting behaviour of Amegilla (Asarapoda) sp. (Hymenoptera : Apoidea : Anthophorinae)

Abstract

Females of Amegilla (Asarapoda) sp. were watched at a nesting site in Brisbane, Qld., and information was obtained on structure of cells, number of pollen trips to provision cells, seasonal cycle, and general nesting behaviour.
