Australian Blattidae (Blattodea) VIII.The Platyzosteris group; subgenus melanozosteria Stal

Abstract

Thirty-four species belonging to the subgenus Melanozosteria Stal are redescribed and figured, together with descriptions of 18 new species, namely: aculeata, atra, ayrensis, baldwinspenceri, barrominensis, capitolina, exigua, flavofusca, hermannsburgensis, insulae, lentiginosa, minima, minor, montana, obesa, occidentalis, perpolita, and popeae.
