The Tipulidae (Diptera) of Australia. IV.* The genus Platyphasia Skuse

Abstract

The endemic Australian genus Platyphasia Skuse, 1890 is revised. Seven species, including P. rawlinsoni, sp. nov., P. tasmaniensis, sp. nov., and P. pictonensis, sp. nov., and four forms are described and figured. An account is given of their distribution. A key for the species is provided.
