Abstract
A technique using a combination of wire cage traps and a drive fence for capturing small forest-dwelling macropods is described. The fence is positioned inside a forest/pasture boundary, and the traps are set along the fence. Grazing macropods are chased off the pasture, along the fence and into the traps. This technique is recommended for small forest-dwelling macropods that are difficult to catch by conventional methods.https://doi.org/10.1071/WR9930189
