Abstract
Experiments were conducted to determine whether the number of house mice in immature crops and stubble-pastures could be effectively reduced by poisoning with 0.3% strychnine-treated wheat, and whether pre-feeding would improve the level of control. Bait material was laid in thin trails at rates of 0.7-1.0 kg ha-1. Mouse numbers were reduced by 69-99%. Poisoning success was not improved by pre-feeding.https://doi.org/10.1071/WR9890459
