Abstract
A technique for the analysis of the diet of herbivores has been developed, which is much faster and no less accurate than the traditional method of counting particles in a sample from the alimentary canal or faeces. Known characteristics of plants are used to categorise the amount of the species (or group of species) present as: none, a little, some, or a lot.https://doi.org/10.1071/WR9860569
