Abstract

Diet was studied of raptor birds, 1 sp. of each of the genera Accipiter, Circus, Elanus, Falco, Haliastur, Ninox and Tyto. Interaction and competition for prey and carrion among those species and between them and Corvus mellori were noted. Details of the diet of each species, according to season, are given in an Accessory Publication available from Editorial and Publications Service, CSIRO, 314 Albert Street, East Melbourne, Vic. 3002, Australia, and the details are also in press (Australasian Raptor Association News).
