Abstract
The use of a sighting device for estimation of molar index in macropodid skulls is shown to reduce variation between different observer estimates by 41% for a series of tammar wallaby skulls. Age determination from molar index should improve in accuracy when a device is used. A description of the device and procedure for its use are given.https://doi.org/10.1071/WR9840451
