Abstract

Growth was recorded of captive marsupials in Australia, the sugar gliders (Petaurus breviceps) during 13 years and squirrel gliders (P. norfolcensis) for 3 years. Tables give age range for different stages of development of the young, and graphs give head, arm and leg lengths and bodyweight at ages up to 180 days. Another graph gives seasonal fluctuation of bodyweight in adults.
