Abstract
The effects of drying, storing in an air-dry condition, and collecting samples at different times of the year, on cation exchange properties and phosphate sorption characteristics have been examined for two soils from coastal north Queensland. The properties measured are independent of sampling time, but both air-drying and storage reduced the capacity of these soils to sorb phosphorus.https://doi.org/10.1071/SR9830067
