Abstract
Leaching of surface applied trace element superphosphate through soil in a laboratory experiment showed that sulphur, phosphorus and calcium are mobile, whereas copper and zinc are relatively immobile. It is suggested that this immobility is responsible for the requirement for such large excesses of copper and zinc in fertilizers relative to plant uptake.https://doi.org/10.1071/SR9750033
