Epicuticular wax hydrocarbons of Richea (Epacridaceae)

Abstract

Analysis of the epicuticular wax hydrocarbons of the genus Richea leads to the identification within the genus of the four groups, either on the basis of the alkane distribution or by the rimuene content. The resulting groupings are different from one another and different from groupings based on the morphology of epicuticular waxes or on the anthocyanins.
