Abstract
For the last 150 years considerable confusion has surrounded the circumscription of the taxa within Diplaspis Hook. f. The nomenclatural and taxonomic history of the genus is reviewed, and the current species limits are assessed. Diplaspis hydrocotyle Hook. f. and D. cordifolia Hook. f. are considered to be restricted to Tasmania, and D. nivis, a new species from the alpine region of the Australian mainland, is described.https://doi.org/10.1071/SB96031
