pp. 486-494

There is a high prevalence of diabetes-associated morbidity and mortality among Aboriginal people living in remote communities in the Kimberley. This work explored lived experiences of these patients managing their type 2 diabetes, via culturally appropriate interviews. We identified recommendations for clinicians, researchers, Aboriginal Health Care Workers, Aboriginal Controlled Health Services and communities to address their concerns through a collaborative approach.
