Abstract
I need assistance with getting undressed. I need assistance with getting positioned properly for the machine and I need assistance with getting dressed and comfortable again. And sure the clinics say 'Yes, we'll help', but most of them have never dealt with a person in a wheelchair before and they don't really understand that you really need assistance ... And it's that whole education process that I find really uncomfortable and tedious. And embarrassing really. I suppose that's the real reason, because I get embarrassed' ('Margaret' in Breast for Me video, on what stops her from accessing health services).https://doi.org/10.1071/PY97007
