Abstract
Equity in health has been defined, in terms to facilitate its assessment and achievement, as the absence of systematic and potentially remediable differences in one or more aspects of health across population groups defined socially, geographically, or demographically (International Society for Equity in Health, 2004). Thus, the key to success in equity research and interventions is to understand those factors that influence the distribution of health in populations.https://doi.org/10.1071/PY04039
