Abstract
The 'photon flux' technique has been used to study electron transport in molecular nitrogen for steady stream discharges under the influence of Ex B fields. The results, the first for the range of conditions 350 < E/N < 550 Td, 0 < B/N < 1009xl0-17 Gcm3, are reported and comparisons between the experimentally determined transport parameters and those obtained under similar conditions by Monte Carlo simulation are made.https://doi.org/10.1071/PH900765
