Abstract
Liquid- and vapour-phase diffusion have been used to fabricate thick films of V-based, Bi-based, and Tl-based ceramic superconductors. Solid substrates are coated with slurries of complementary compositions and sintered at low temperatures for short times to give dense adherent films that are principally single-phase. This technique can be used to produce reproducible materials of simplified fabrication.https://doi.org/10.1071/PH890535
