Abstract
The techniques of nuclear orientation and nuclear magnetic resonance of oriented nuclei are introduced and some of their applications to various problems in solid state magnetism are described. In particular, the magnetic properties of materials can be studied by investigating quadrupole interactions, hyperfine field distributions, Knight shifts, spin-lattice relaxation and magnetic structure.https://doi.org/10.1071/PH790647
