A Map of M?42 and M?43 at a Wavelength of 1·94 cm

Abstract

A radio map of the Orion A region, made with a beamwidth of 2' . 2 arc and a pointing accuracy of llN arc r.m.s., resolves the two nebulae, agrees well with optical photographs, and confirms that the emission peak of M - 42 lies some 30N arc east of the Trapezium.
