Inelastic Scattering of 3He from 6Li, 7Li, 10B, 19F, and 27Al at 10 MeV

Abstract

There have been no reports in the literature of 3He inelastic scattering below some 15 MeV bombarding energy. Because such inelastic scattering can provide useful information on both the compound and residual nuclei involved, it was decided to carry out some preliminary measurements on representative light nuclei to check the feasibility of undertaking a full-scale investigation. This note presents the results of these easurements.
