Abstract
Two simple methods are described for finding accurately the direction of an auroral ray from a parallactic pair of photographs. Errors are discussed. The methods reopen an experimental field, namely, the study of the relationship of the direction of the geomagnetic field in the polar ionosphere to that at the ground.https://doi.org/10.1071/PH630520
